i don't really have much to talk about today but i'm tryna make a habit out of posting at least once a day. i also think in each post now i'm gonna start noting at least one good thing that happened to me or that i did. it's just for me to start having more appreciation in my life. if you guys wanna start too, hey the more the merrier!!
so my good thing today was that i finished a new tv show! it's called sterling point and you can watch it on amazon prime. i started watching it yesterday with my mama and we finally finished the 8 episodes of the first season.
if you're a fan of shows like every year after and the summer i turned pretty you would TOTALLY enjoy this series. it follows an 18 year old girl, her name is annie jacobson and her whole life she thought it was just her, her twin brother, and her adoptive dad. her adoptive mom tragically passed when she was young but everything comes crashing down when her adoptive grandfather also passes and she and her brother inherit an island in canada called sterling point. so throughout the whole series, it's annie's journey trying to figure out why did her adoptive, estranged grandfather leave her the island and why it was so important to her adoptive mother. but while there, she uncovers more life-changing secrets that make her question her life as a whole.
it was a really entertaining show to watch, even if there was some slow parts throughout, i was still invested in this story. there's drama, found family, lgbtq+ representation and LOTS of romance that i was eating up. overall, i would it give it 3.8/5 stars. would i watch it again? yes on a good day. will i watch another season if they make one? also yes. one, because the plot takes you on a rollercoaster and two, ellis (one of annie's love interest) is SUPER cute.
anyways, if you want something to watch, i recommend this show sterling point! ttyl my angel girls!
